ArbolKin is a private application for organizing family trees, memories, documents, conversations, and family collaboration. Access to family workspaces is granted by invitation or by authorization from workspace owners and administrators.
Having an authenticated account does not automatically grant access to any family workspace. Access depends on memberships, invitations, roles, tree-level permissions, and privacy rules configured in the application.
You are responsible for information, photos, documents, stories, comments, and other materials you upload, edit, or share. Before publishing information about living relatives, you must have an appropriate basis, permission, or reasonable family expectation to do so.
You must not upload data that is false, invasive, unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, sensitive without authorization, or that unnecessarily exposes others to risk.
The application includes controls to hide sensitive living-person data from certain roles. Those controls do not replace your obligation to treat family information carefully.
If you administer a workspace, review roles, tree permissions, and private media before inviting more relatives.
Owners and administrators can invite members, assign roles, review suggestions, manage access, and change workspace settings. Editors can change family content. Viewers have limited read and collaboration access based on configuration.
You agree not to access, modify, export, or share information from workspaces, trees, or people for which you are not authorized.
You keep the rights you have in content you upload. By uploading content, you represent that you have the right to do so and authorize ArbolKin to store it, process it, generate views or thumbnails, show it to authorized members, and keep technical copies needed to operate the service.
Do not upload copyrighted content, confidential material, or official documents unless you are authorized to store and share them inside the family workspace.
You must not use ArbolKin for harassment, surveillance, doxxing, impersonation, spam, malware, infrastructure abuse, unauthorized bulk extraction, permission bypass, or unlawful activity.
We may suspend or limit access when needed to protect users, family data, security, availability, or legal compliance.
ArbolKin does not provide legal, genealogical, medical, tax, professional historical, or archival advice. Family information may contain mistakes, incomplete interpretations, or subjective memories.
Verify important sources before relying on service information for personal, legal, historical, or estate decisions.
The service may change, be interrupted, be limited, or become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, errors, providers, infrastructure limits, or causes outside our control.
When available to your role, you may export workspace data. Exports contain private family information and must be protected outside the application.
ArbolKin may offer free, paid, or complimentary plans with different member, storage, tree, feature, or support limits. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees, applicable taxes, and renewal, change, or cancellation terms communicated during checkout or in the billing portal.
Workspace owners are responsible for managing the family workspace plan. If a plan is canceled, expires, payment fails, or limits are exceeded, we may restrict new uploads, invitations, or content creation while preserving reasonable read or export access as appropriate.
ArbolKin is provided to the extent permitted by law without warranties of permanent availability, accuracy, perfect data preservation, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree to use the service responsibly and indemnify ArbolKin's operators from claims arising from content you upload, permissions you grant, misuse of the service, or violation of third-party rights.
We may update these terms when the product, infrastructure, legal requirements, or business model changes. If a change is material, we may require you to accept a new version before continuing to use the service or accepting new invitations.
