A superadmin operates the platform; they do not replace the family owner. Use these tools to prepare workspaces, review metadata, and handle exceptions without entering private family content unless you are also an explicit workspace member.
Superadmin operations
Create a family workspace and hand control to the owner
Review operational configuration and billing readiness
Assign manual plans such as Sponsored with an internal reason
Using superadmin access to inspect private family data without explicit membership
Enabling plan changes before environment variables and staging tests are complete
Assigning Sponsored without an internal reason or periodic review
Visit /admin with an account listed in SUPERADMIN_EMAILS. From there you can review workspace metadata, create workspaces, and open configuration.
In /admin/configuration, review non-secret operational settings. The billing section only shows whether environment variables are configured; it never exposes values.
Create the family workspace from administration and generate an invitation for the person who will own it. The workspace will not appear on your Home screen unless you accept an invitation as a member.
From the workspace detail page you can assign Free or Sponsored. Basic and Advanced require owner Stripe checkout or portal. Use Sponsored only for close family, trusted testing, sponsorships, or approved transitions, and record a clear internal reason.
Help us keep the documentation accurate. If something is missing, send the context and the section you were using.
Learn what each role can do and how to limit access when a workspace has multiple trees.
Invite members, assign roles, and connect an account with a family profile when appropriate.
Restore archived items and review important changes in the family workspace.
